and a little description of rotation. You are throwing down great numbers and I want our other medics to leverage your dev probe rotation that seems to be working well.

I want to discuss buffs to make sure we are maximizing synergies.

I bring

  • Critical Priority (I'm sure we all do)
  • T8 Fissure for the 20% Tech debuff
  • Field Probes w/ Surgical for the 6% dmg boost
  • Sometimes T4 EP for the 12.5% dmg boost + 3% STR/CHR

I would like some more T4 EPs if not T8 spread amongst us.

For buffs, I run critical priority and almost always T4 emp. I occasionally take emp off to try something, but put it back on after one or two pulls.

As far as I can tell from logs and meters, the biggest difference between me and Moko is the number of annihilation casts. I noticed that mine is off cooldown fairly often, so I set up an auramastery to make it more obvious and we'll see how much better that is.

Annihilation is one of our major spells but he is also not running Nullifier and getting good return with Devastator Probes, I'm guessing with renewable Probes Amp. Getting one more Amp point for you would allow you to spex into that and pull from Life Steal Amp points.

On my medic on Dominion side i tend to run what feels like a smoother build then a QC build that for some  odd reason does more damage on a raid dummy but less damage in a raid. I call it my buff bitch build, http://www.jabbithole.com/builder/medic#1028F08048G0K8a0/su8.0.2sbi.34q.0.0

since my damage in this build isnt as important as making sure my buffs get off i take out Urgency and Atomize for ccbreak/extra interrupt

I'm currently limited on both AMP and Ability Points, so it's a fairly straightforward QC rotation with T1 EMP thrown in whenever it's off cooldown.  Currently working on getting my Ability Points unlocked so I can eventually bring a T4 EMP, or anything else that is needed.

I use this for dailies, dungeons, and raiding. Magnetic Lockdown can be changed to Urgency or Demateralize, basically any other type of utility needed for a fight, but the two interrupts are nice.

 

Rotation: The goal with this build is to squeeze as many abilities into a single QC cast. Every fight, Immediately use Energize (Innate) and your Gadget, unless you know a MoO is coming up within ~3 seconds. Otherwise, it goes Energize + Gadget > QC (Hold down always) + DEV Probes + EMP Probes + Anni. (That's all in one QC Cast. Try to use Emp probes immediately after DEV probes, and then follow up with Anni.) > QC + Fissure + Discharge > QC+ Discharge spam until CD's pop up.

 

Bonus/Optional: Instead of starting with DEV probes, I sometimes start with QC + Fissure + EMP Probes + Anni, but because I run T8 Anni, you don't get the full benefit of DEV probes. Starting with DEV probes allows you to get two Anni's in a single DEV probe, which maximizes my damage. If you want to run T4 EMP probes, change T8 Anni to T4.
